2 Samuel 9 tells a touching story about friendship and kindness, especially between David and Jonathan. In this chapter, we see David, the King of Israel, going out of his way to show love and compassion to Jonathan’s son, Mephibosheth, who has a disability. David not only returns all of families land to Mephibosheth but also invites him to share meals at the king's table.
