What a joy to welcome our members, guests, and those worshiping with us online. We’re so glad you’ve chosen to be here today.
Thank you for the many prayers, greetings, and thoughtful expressions of love on my birthday. I truly felt the warmth of this church family.
Our theme today is being planted—in Christ, in faith, and in love. The secret is that the roots keep a tree strong and fruitful; our spiritual roots keep us steady in God. Next week, as we celebrate Grandparents’ Day, we’ll honor those whose roots of prayer, wisdom, and faith continue to bless generations.
I also want to highlight our upcoming 5K event. Strong roots give life to a tree, and healthy habits strengthen us for God’s service. Let’s support this event by praying, participating, or volunteering—because together we grow stronger as a family of faith.
