Dear Church Family,
Last Sabbath was a true blessing; and I would like to thank
our Pathfinder Club for an inspiring worship service. Thank
you to all our leaders who mentor our young people on how
to be a servant to God and a friend to man.
In 1 Samuel 25, we see the contrast between foolishness and
wisdom. Nabal’s reckless words nearly led to disaster, while
Abigail’s quick wisdom brought peace. Have you ever said,
“Oops, I wish I hadn’t done that?” Like Abigail, we are
counseled to “Act Wise, Not Twice,” preventing regret before
it begins.
Next week is our Communion Sabbath. It is a loving
reminder of how much God loves us even when we make
mistakes. While perfection may elude us, let us seek God’s
guidance daily, choosing words and actions that reflect His
wisdom.
