Any individual who is age 70 1/2 years old and over and giving donations to LLFC can save income taxes by requesting the trustee of the IRA to pay a nontaxable distribution directly to LLFC through a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD). The QCD may be in addition to the Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) or a reduction from the RMD. Please contact David Patrona, treasurer, for any questions.
