Dear Family,
“Thank You” for giving it your best these past three weeks during
our Revelation of Love Bible Seminar.We worked together and
persevered. God abundantly blessed the efforts of everyone
who helped with the programming, hospitality, registration, and
support. We were fighting a spiritual war; and it was exhausting
and messy. But praise God, though battle is ongoing, it was already
won at the cross. My prayer is that whatever sacrifice you gave, it
was worth it as you saw what God was able to do.
This is Easter Weekend, and the Christian world celebrates the
death of Christ at the cross.The title of my sermon today is,
“Foolish Cross.” 1 Corinthians 1:18 talks about how the cross is
foolishness to those who are perishing. Is General George Patton
correct when he said (in a paraphrase), “No soldier ever won a
war by going out and dying for his country. He won it by making
some other soldiers die for his country.” I am thankful that God’s
ways are not man’s ways. At the end, the entire universe will
understand the power of His love!
